There are many benefits to becoming a member of the San Diego County Cymbidium Society (SDCCS). Members get to hear presentations by expert growers at meetings, participate in plant raffles, visit local greenhouses, and receive our monthly newsletter which includes speaker bios, photos, and notice of local orchid events. Most importantly, meetings provide the opportunity to meet others who share a passion for orchids and orchid growing. Our membership fee is $10 a year per person. We meet in the Recreation Room at the San Marcos Senior Center, 111 Richmar Ave. in San Marcos, CA. From Carlsbad and Oceanside, travel east on CA-78. Exit at Twin Oaks Valley Rd. Turn left onto S. Twin Oaks Valley Rd. Travel about 1/2 mile to Richmar Ave. Turn left onto Richmar Ave. 111 Richmar Ave. will be on your left. From Escondido, take CA-78 to Twin Oaks Valley Rd. Turn right onto S. Twin Oaks Valley Rd., and make a left onto Richmar Ave.
